Due to the recent development of COVID pandemic, the fourth chapter of the Prelude series, 'WONDER WOMEN IN SCIENCE", scheduled on 8 March 2022 will be deferred. Latest arrangement of the HKLF’s events will be shared on our website and social media.
Scheduled for the "International Women’s Day", 8 March 2022, "Wonder Women in Science – Inspiring and Empowering the Next Generation" is the fourth chapter of the prelude to the inaugural Hong Kong Laureate Forum. For centuries, women have made important contributions to sciences but for many it took a long time for their discoveries to be recognised. This event comprises exhibition and hybrid seminar with round-table dialogue gathering both renowned local and international female scientists and researchers. They will share their views on challenges and opportunities for women in science and technology, contribution of female researchers to the advancement of science as well as their own experience to balance, collaborate and flourish in both career and personal life, etc. By sharing these successful stories, we hope to inspire and prepare young women to embark on the journey of scientific research.
