The Beacons of Research Journey is a "Prelude to the Forum", designed to support Junior Academics and up-and-coming Young Scientists in Hong Kong as they navigate their research journeys. Renowned scholars and experts will share their invaluable insights on topics early-career researchers are eager to explore. From investigating interdisciplinary research opportunities and mastering innovative experimental techniques to navigating career transitions, securing funding, building effective research teams, and protecting intellectual property, the event promises to be thought-provoking and will inspire participants with new perspectives in their research journeys.

"Exploring New Horizons 2025" is one of the key activities launched by the Council of the Hong Kong Laureate Forum (the HKLF). In this activity, senior secondary school students can visit laboratories of local universities and research institutions and engage in dialogue with local scientists and researchers, to gain a deeper understanding of scientists' work, cultivate their interest in science, and ignite their pursuit of scientific research advancement.
